This controller (bottom right) showed up on my Twitter feed today. I've seen pics of it before, but I never really gave it much thought. Out of curiosity, I asked the guy who posted it what the serial was on the back. He responded back "FSAT19ACC." Ran this through Google and there's really not much information out there. The little I was able to find seems to indicate that it was manufactured by Sega Ozisoft, who it seems was responsible for Sega distribution in Australia throughout most of the '90s. Can anyone confirm?

I've been having the same problem however, when I open SSF it opens already minimized. So when I click it on the windows bar the message comes up and I cannot play. I can hear the emulator sounds working perfectly though. Any ideas? I run into this problem a lot but figured out how to fix it. Happens when I Alt+Ent out of fullscreen mode while running OBS or FRAPS. Delete your SSF.ini file. A new one will be generated when you run SSF.exe and the window will display properly.

Ah, thanks! Also, didn't realize Geocities was still around in Japan. Another Yahoo! Auctions type situation, I suppose.

I own both volumes of Dark Hunter. I'm planning on making a video fairly soon.

I purchased six games from Matt. Despite shipping from overseas, the parcel arrived very quickly. The items were carefully packaged and in the exact stated condition. Very reasonable prices. Great seller! If he ever lists anything again, I wouldn't give a second thought to buying from him once more.

The most exciting prospect for me was the cartridge, that could have paved the way for an everdrive type device all but negating the use of our rapidly aging Saturn lasers. If Rockin'-B ever Kickstarted a project like that, I'd toss at least $100 at him. [Edit]: Just go to thinking about the Saturn USB Datalink. Apparently it can load some basic homebrew games. Perhaps there's potential for it to do more...

Question for you guys, did this game ever get finished? I remember seeing a demo on youtube years back. Really liked the idea of a new playable Saturn game. Looked decent as far as a point and click goes. I don't believe so. Last thing on it that I remember seeing was that the creator had come up with a way to make the demo bootable via the cartridge slot. After that, nothing.

That's the one tied to the launcher.

While distribution of the homebrew title in question is legal, there's a whole bunch of other content on that site which technically should not be there. Get my drift?

For the longest time, I hadn't been able to find any working download links for the homebrew game Police Officer Smith, but recently someone uploaded the C4 2007 games to a certain site which shall go unnamed to comply with forum rules. Anyway, it's the boot disc version that houses most of the games on a single disc (except for two which need to be on separate discs of their own). Problem is that I just can't get the boot disc to launch the games. The launcher itself loads, plays music, and lets you cycle through the games, but that's pretty much it. I haven't dug out a real Saturn to test it yet, but with SSF and Yabause, it makes the emulators think the CD drive is open as soon as you launch a game.
I was wondering if anyone out there might have the standalone version of POS. That way I don't have to deal with the launcher.

**WORD OF ADVICE** Careful about keeping your White Saturns boxed and hidden away. They can STILL turn yellow without any sunlight. I had a new white Saturn carefully stored away in a box, a console I was very proud of. Next time I checked it, it had 'started' to discolour. Was pretty gutted. Enjoy them while they're White imo I always thought it was sunfade. Do you perhaps smoke? Whatever the case, I've got my V-Saturn for everyday use and I've got a mint Japanese gray too. I'm set on Saturns, lol. If I did buy another, it would be for a custom painjob. There's a guy on eBay who does console paintjobs using automobile paint. Been thinking about picking up a used Saturn and shipping it off to him for quite some time.

I think you and I may have bought from the exact same guy a few years ago. Purchased mine on eBay from Thailand. Plate on the back is identical except for a lower serial number (7760). I never bothered to plug it in since it was mint and I own a V-Saturn which I use for everyday gaming.

Got to talking to a guy on IRC who mentioned he had the exact same problem a while back. He couldn't remember how he resolved the issue, but he found that burning the ISOs to CD-Rs worked as a temporary fix. Not having any CD-Rs on hand, I dug through some boxes and got my Saturn collection out. Lo and behold, my computer can run CD audio directly off a CD without any issue. It's gonna be a pain in the ass having to burn games I don't own, but at least I have a workaround now.
To everyone who tried to help me out with this, thank you!
