Oh yeah, Willy Wombat, IIRC the engine is a lot cooler than the gameplay. The game just felt really slow paced, or maybe I just didn't give it enough time to get over the early tutorial levels.

Wow, Final Fight looks pretty sweet, love the Fist of the North Star reference. Those animations in Taekwon Do Girl are pretty smooth. And that first game, Elan Doree, looks like shit.

Did the same studio who made 1945 make Cobra for Genesis? The sprites look so similar.
I'm gunna have to vote for the one I haven't played and go with Gunbird. That sprite work looks pretty sweet if you ask me.

OK, so I just got my SCART to HDMI dealy, hooray! This is the one I got. www.ebay.com/itm/SCART-To-HDMI-Video-Audio-Upscale-Converter-Adapter-1080P-HD-TV-DVD-SKy-Box-STB-/263395136138?var=&hash=item3d5392d28aSo my cat, the real Sonnington, my one and only true son, was going absolutely wild and crazy kitties when I brought the Saturn out. I couldn't really feel any input lag, albiet, I was playing on a Benq 144hz gaming monitor which may have helped mitigate that. The graphics kind of made me sick to my stomach after an hour or so. You can see in this picture it's almost like a JPEG that was uploaded too many times. The graphics definitely looked and felt fuzzy. So, I hope that helps you in your decision somewhat. Component or RGB would definitely give a better picture.

Oh, damn, probably would've been good to know this before I bought the scart to hdmi. It was only 20-30 bucks or something. It's being shipped from China as we speak... so I'll let you know how it works out.
While I'm waiting for the scart to hdmi, I've been thinking about just getting an rca cables and picking up a free crt tv from craigslist. They've worked well for me for 20+ years. I guess if it aint broke don't fix it.

Bulk Slash. Such a beautiful looking game that was rather easy to play without understanding Japanese. Also because it's third person.

Wow, that music in Choro Q is so bad. Never even knew that game existed, but it looks rather cute.
High Velocity was an OK racer. I liked the graphics and the gameplay was alright. Drift Kings bored me to tears. Albeit, I didn't play either for very long.

Wow, never knew about D-Xhird and Zero Divide. D-X looks pretty good, but I obviously have to vote for the one I've played. Anarchy in Nippon is a nice little novelty game, but nothing to get excited about

With respect, how can you say 'definitely the best out of the three' without having played all of them? I've played the other two and I thought they weren't very good. Just by looking I can tell it's the best out of the three. I've been playing games for a long time now and I've played a lot of different genres. So when I see gameplay of a certain genre I've played before I can imagine the fun I would be having with it and recognize it as a fun game. I don't buy into the idea that you need to play a game to tell if it would be fun or if you'd like it or not. Sure maybe Total War or Cities Skylines you can't tell since they're -so- nuanced, but a Space Harrier clone? Yeah, I can tell if I'd like it or not by watching 10-15 minutes of gameplay footage.

I've never seen Night Striker S. At first I thought, "Huh, cheesy Space Harrier clone." But after watching for a little while it looks rather compelling. I'll have to play it sometime. Definitely the best out of the three, imo.

NINJA JAJAMARU KUN is a really awesome platformer. Is it a platformer really? It kind of reminds me of the infinite runners they have today on phones. In any event, it's a blast and well worth the time to invest into it.
Never played Lupin. The animations looks slick though...
NINPEN MANMARU is tough to rate. I played it for maybe an hour and I'm at the age where overly cutesy super light greens and super light blue child colouring is a turn off. By my memory the platforming matched the colouring... far, far too easy. Maybe it became more difficult throughout the game, it was certainly a well coded and well made game for a 3rd party game that never made it out of Japan.
PS, I've been waiting to see a poll with Ninpen Manmaru and Ninja Jajamaru Kun. Both are definitely well done games.

I've actually played all of these games before, not for very long mind you.
Tryrush Deppy was my favorite, while Liquid Kids was depressing. Liquid Kids felt like a shoe string budget game where the devs wanted to try something innovative, but came up with shit.
All the games have too much color for my tastes, tbh.

Swagman looks cool.
Herc's Adventure sucks hard, IIRC.
I've always wanted to play Spiritual Assassin.

I like the way this poll is worded, "Which do you want to play more."
I figure Bomberman will run away with it, but I've never been a fan of the series.
Vatlva looks terrible. Like an absolute joke.
KERIOTOSSE? KERIOTOSSE! Where have you been all my life? This game looks amazing!!!
