Interesting. Usually they go for more. This is an example of my tip in the Real World thread, that you can get bargains in eBay if you are willing to buy from sellers with poor photos and sparse descriptions.

Just thought I'd report that I've been playing X Men vs Street fighter on a PAL Saturn. Using the Action Replay 4M Auto. v2.02. Game runs well on the whole. There seems to be the odd bit of sound distortion but its not a big deal. I only noticed it because i was looking for it.
The only problem so far has been it seemed to crash and reset when I completed the end boss battle. Bit worrying but it doesn't really affect my enjoyment of the game.

From memory, by far the worst Street Fighter game around. But on its own merits, a reasonably diverting game to borrow or rent that wasn't worth buying- but probably worth having now for nostalgia purposes.

There's a disc only set on Amazon UK at the moment if you're interested. Appreciate not ideal for the collector. Thanks Barry! I did see it. I'm trying to organise a way to get it. They won't ship to Australia. I know it doesn't have a manual. But the 3 I have found with manual they all want an extra $300-$400aud MORE. With a wife and kids here I just can't justify paying that much more money for a manual. Agreed, I'd go for it without the manual, the moves are very much similar to the other SF games anyway. Perhaps contact the seller and ask them to change their settings so they can send to Oz.

Just bought Street Fighter Collection PAL. Hadn't played SF2 for well over 15 years, but can still remember lots of the moves! Spinning Bird Kick ! Great fun. Anyway, somehow I found it for £30 on Amazon. Near mint condition. I think someone naively thought it was worth the same as the PS version... No way............. There's a disc only set on Amazon UK at the moment if you're interested. Appreciate not ideal for the collector.

Received my copy of Die Hard Arcade today. £35 off eBay, seems about the going rate for a tidy example.
The anti tank gun used to have me in stitches. Really looking forward to giving it a play.

Played Marvel Super Heroes last night for the first time and loved it. Nice and easy to pick up and play, and still looks impressive and vibrant. Highly recommended.
King of Fighters '95 is a lot more complex to play (well) so might not have the same crowd pleasing effect you're looking for.

Quite taken aback to find such a busy Saturn fan community, had no idea. At the age of 32, recently moved into a house with enough space to accommodate all my teenage "junk" from my Dad's loft. That included a Saturn, PS1 and Mega Drive. Have decided to just keep one and build up the collection, which is of COURSE the Saturn and a fair set of games. I accidentally got a Saturn back in '96. When shopping for my birthday present, the salesman in Dixons (English electricals chain, now bankrupt I think) persuaded my Dad and I to get the Saturn over the PS1 and N64. Looking back he was probably on commission to clear the things out... but what luck. I was the only kid in my year to have the Saturn, and was seen as an oddball for it. But I loved it. The wonderful arcade conversions, the slight quirkiness of it all, Duke Nukem, Sonic R.. brilliant. I bought all the mags and held on until the bitter end in '98/'99, and remember feeling devastated when the local Electronics Boutique (remember that!) consigned the whole Saturn rack to the bargain bin- all the good titles had presumably been sent back as it was full of Fifas and Mario Andretti and the like. My last game in '98. was Burning Rangers, which I recently learned is now a valuable cult classic. Couldn't also afford the £40 for Panzer Dragoon Saga back then; have just dropped £175 on it, am so keen to have a play. You live and learn. That's enough rambling, thanks to whoever runs this website and I look forward to reading through. Just realised it must have been early 1997 I got the Saturn as N64 had just come out.

"Barry; where's Barry?" You seem like a genuinely awesome padre. Welcome to the boards dude! Thanks fella. Thought the user name was a nice tribute to the second most unreliable member of the STARS.

I'd like a copy of this, and love Res Evil so am keen to play it.
There's currently at least 6 PAL copies on EBay priced between £150-210 , at the moment and have been on for several days. I'm no economist but that smacks of delusional pricing- its a buyer's market when there's that many on offer.

I've been looking for a pal copy of this for a while now. JPN and NTSC copies easy enough to find. Was this on Amazon UK? I checked that site often and never saw it. Good find mate. Well done. Do you have any other links to a PAL copy? Hi mate. Yes Amazon UK. I think there is one or two on eBay UK and ebay Germany, at ridiculous prices of course. It's hard to find isn't it. I think I just got lucky.

True thing: Their other items seem to be priced at typical rates though. I also found a few other items at prices below Ebay on Amazon, though no other mega bargains.

Big price tag these days. However, It falls into that group of games you can buy with the fall back that you could sell it on for likely a profit in a couple of years. So fairly guilt free!

Have always loved this game, and it is still very enjoyable today on its own merits. I remember being highly impressed that the voice navigation worked quite well. I did once play through enough times to collect all the different rescued people. The levels keep on changing which keeps it very fresh.
