Just grabbed this Japanese promo flyer for Shining Force III S1. Never seen it before. Came on nice heavy glossy paper. Very colorful. Its about typical letter size maybe a bit larger. Only $5. Seller also had a Burning Rangers one I missed out on! Classic Flyer from Japan, A4 size (so yes a little bit larger than letter size). There are TONS released in Japan, from 1 to 3-5 per games. I began to collect them and I have a great collection so far, but they tend to be expensive nowadays. You got this one for a good price! It is part of what I call This is Cool flyer collection.

Great pieces to have, I figured you bought them from the auctions links too since the same ones were just posted. I considered getting maybe one of those or the VF one I also saw. They would look good all lined up next to each other. Madroms , the Sonic 3D Blast store promo banner I did indeed find via the Saturn Auctions twitter. Please keep posting stuff like that on there. I will do

Here is my pickup from today. Guy I bought them off purchased them from England. I don't think they where for sale in the UK but rather would of been used in stores as promo. Planning to frame them and display them in my gaming room. Wrapped to have picked these up with Sega rally being one of my fav games on the console. Should look great up on the wall. did you get it by following the auction I posted on satakore.com or on Twitter ? Just to know who follows my posts

Ahh heard of those never seen them before. I Understand all that but if you need a modchip anyways you might as well burn it yourself. Back in the Saturn days, finding ISO was not so easy: no highspeed internet for all, not a lot of websites where you can download them (IRC was the king), etc. And CDR + burner were expensive. This is why bootleggers made profit in Asia easily. It was easier to buy a bootleg for say 5 USD than dlding and burning it yourself. Also in Asia, this is THE place for all sort of bootlegs: games, music, videos, etc

Hi Guys, I just found someone selling a pretty odd Nights into dreams disc. It does seem a legit game but in the same time, it doesn't match anything i know. Can someone help me out on this? I was thinking about letting this go, but if this is a rare item i might get it. Thanks for the help
It's a chinese bootleg made during the Saturn era. You can recognized them as: 1) they look like original with the color of the layer: always grey 2) they never have any copyrights, brands, name of company written on the cd/case/inserts 3) they have official or unofficial artworks on the cd/case/inserts, but always without any copyrights,... (see point 2) 4) serial number used is something like ss-xxxx, s-xxx, or any other simple serial 5) no outer ring on the cd, so can't be played without a modchip, etc They are pressed discs, not burnt. I have some of them, and somewhat liked to buy them (cheap) when I found them on the net.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the Bug Too! Plastic case version. I did own it 6 + years ago and it was one of the games I sold off back then when I was going through some financial strain. It was only when I bought it back 2 years ago and it came in a cardboard case that I suddenly became aware of the two different case versions and plastic case re-releases in general. Since then I've tried everything to find one and have had no joy. Loaded I still have so you're in luck, so hear you are. Where on earth did you manage to get pictures of plastic case Virtual On? That seems to be the hardest re-release to find. I've never seen it on Ebay or Amazon. Thanks a lot for the pictures (can I add it to satakore.com ?) and info on Bug. I will update the list probably on Sunday. The pictures of plastic case version of V-ON came from one of our users at satakore.com. He managed to buy it on ebay in November 2015. He also told me it was the first time he saw it and bought it instantly.

you need to check the matrix info on the cd to know which revision it is: GS-9110P-01050-P...: 1st rev GS-9110P-01050A-P... 2nd rev, you need this one, A just after 01050
But difficult to see on photos on eBay as it is a layer that is too reflective, as the cd were made on IFPI L231 or 237 factories. So you may ask the seller about the matrix info, if they are willing to reply...
From my memory, the 1st revision does not work on later model of saturn due to the design of 2 chips on the motherboard that were redesigned into 1 chip, instead of 2 separate chips, on later models. And the code of the game does not work correctly with this new 2-in-1 chip. zyrobs may tell you more about this.

do they have the correct matrix data on the inner ring of the cd ? donpachi: something like "T-14405GP-00793 1M2 C 64" then "IFPI L223" where "1M2 C 64" could be different radiant: something like "T-32902GP-02338 1M7 C 87" where "1M7 C 87" could be different If yes, they are legit.
You may try: - to check the header with SRP: if it recognizes them as saturn cd - to rip them and check the files/iso/bin-cue

which revision is it ? check the inner ring of the cd: GS-9057P-00416-xxx GS-9057P-00416A-xxx GS-9057P-00416B-xxx
I don't remember any problem with this game, as it has 2 revisions, there are probably some bugs in the 1st revision, one might be a problem of the video with some saturn consoles.
