Has anybody played this? There are literally no reviews on YouTube. I've had it in the back of my mind for a while as it looks interesting enough (It looks like a Zelda clone, and I like Zelda). I have literally just had a blast on the Megadrive original right now for the first time and it is really good. So far it has the potential to be the best 2D Zelda game But yeah, how is the sequel? Is it disappointing, fun, amazing, etc? Could be one to keep an eye out for.

Well after the disappointment of my 3D Controller being broken, I decided to use the money from my refund towards another game (they couldn't replace and the others on eBay are too pricey).
I was lucky enough to snag Die Hard Arcade for £40, including delivery to Spain. It had just come up too so it was fate, I suppose. Especially as recent auctions have been for silly amounts. They were also selling Sega Rally too for a fiver. I'm sure I could have gotten the game cheaper, but I didn't have to pay extra postage because they can bundle them together. Considering the price of postage is £6, I am technically up on that deal!
I hope to have a nice haul of games coming to me soon. Hopefully by the back end of next week!

Well, I remembered that Enemy Zero is actually compatible with the 3D controller. Tried it out and my controller acted possessed. It worked for a moment and then started doing its own thing. It seems as if it's faulty. I've contacted the guy who sold it to me so hopefully I can get a replacement :/

Hello! Welcome!
I know Swagman is an exclusive European game, and I'm sure I read that Discworld was too (makes sense as it is quite a British thing). There are probably more but I have heard people say positive things about those, so may be worth looking int.
As for US games not released in Japan. Not sure. I imagine there will be various American Handegg games that may have been released only there. The Saturn was a flop in the US, so there may not be many US exclusives.
I'm new to the Saturn myself though so I'm sure the others can help you further!

My controller arrived this morning (yay) and is in perfect condition. However, it doesn't seem to work. Now I realise that not all games support the analogue control (and I can't test that as BR has STILL not arrive :/ ) but I would assume that all games with work when the controller is set to digital mode? I have just tested it with Shinobi and it wouldn't work.
Is my controller faulty or is this normal? I tried looking into it but I just kept getting lists of games compatible with the analogue.
Thanks!

Fair play, but it's always nice to hold a rarity. In fact, if you want to get a copy of PDS I will happily take the boxed version off your hands

Welcome! Do you have a Saturn at the moment? What games do you have?

Welcome. Great to see another Saturn fan here who cares very little about the Dreamcast.
Shame you got rid of your collection, but at least you have PD Saga. I'm pretty jealous of that. I want to play it but it's so darn expensive.
Hope to see you around!

When you see the date, that is the battery. However that is only for the date and saves, I believe. It won't affect your console.
To me it sounds like an issue with the power. You say you have plugged your saturn adapter into your ps3? How long did you have the ps3 on for? If you are definitely sure it is not the power cable, it is likely that you have a faulty saturn. Have a word with the person / place you bought if from and request a refund / replacement.
Sorry to hear you are having trouble. It's a great console so you'll have fun when you get it all up and running properly.

Finally picked up Die Hard Arcade. Ended up paying £38 for it after some slight bartering. Where from? eBay? I have been looking for it but everywhere is expensive. I may have to negotiate with some sellers after they fail to sell at their stupid prices! As for my pickups, I have just bought a 3D controller. I have Burning Rangers on its way to me in the post so I'm fully prepared now!

Damn, so I would have to mod my Saturn to play homebrew. I'm not doing that. Oh well, I guess I'll just watch an LP of it or something since the story looks cool.

That looks really cool. How exactly would patching work on the Saturn? Does the file store on your 4mb cart or something, or would you burn the entire patched game to disc? I'm hoping for the former ?

That game looks so good. I really want it. It just looks stupid as hell, in a good way. I watched one video and he clothes-lined some random woman in a corridor. And then he shot a guy with an anti-tank rifle and sent the guy flying. I love games like this, so this is a must buy for me

Welcome! I am also new here, and relatively new to the Saturn too. The community is still going here too, which is nice (for a pretty old console )

Well when I played the game I opened the lid with the Saturn on, switched discs, and then clicked "launch application". It played the cutscene and then just continued as normal.
I made a point in saving just before the disc switch though so I don't know if that made any difference
