Welcome man!
Kudos for the profile avatar!
We're not exactly in the "right time" to collect Sega Saturn as prices have gone through the roof, but enthusiasm is ever present! ; )

I'm actually surprised that Virtua Fighter 2 came out the least favourable. You learn something new everyday. Only 15 votes anyway. Either way, Fighting Vipers is much more of a casual fighting game. It's understandable it comes out on top on these kind of poles

I played the heck out of Golden Axe Duel in Sega Flash vol.1 back when i was a kid and finally purchased the game a few months ago. After years of playing 2D fighters in tournaments i must say, Golden Axe Duel is surprisingly good. It's playstyle resembles a lot to Street Fighter 2 (with weapons of course) and i feel it's more of a competitive game than UMK3.

I can't believe how hard it is to find PAL DS these days. It can still be had for reasonable prices if you are patient, but more and more sellers are asking for exhorborant prices. Well, to be fair, the game is slightly rare so it kinda makes sense. Story of thor is still more expensive though. Even so, you can get a complete copy of DS for 50£. Don't really think it's that expensive considering the game's uniqueness. However, i did start collecting a short while ago so i'm used to the current prices.

Got this today. No manual, but disc is in good condition. For 42£ it's pretty much a steal

I voted for VF2. Excluded Virtual On for not being a classic Fighter.
VF2 was pretty much the foundation for every 3D fighting game we see nowadays. It had the depth no game had at the time (tekken was miles away back then) and graphic wise was also very good. At least i see it as the very first 3D competitive fighting game.

Having played Both i must say i prefer dark savior.
I do love how story of thor looks, but it gets annoying after a while. I feel like the game would be better if it was a little bit straightforward

Finally beat the original panzer dragoon... I know, i'm a bit late but i only got the game a few months ago. Comparing to PDZwei (the one i played until exhaustion) i found it waaaaay harder.

I loved Last Bronx back then, but when i picked it back up a couple of months ago (after years of 2D and 3D fighters) i must say... it's not very good. While it has that classic Saturn arcade feel, it's sluggish at the same time in several aspects (especially when it comes to jumping attacks...motions are meh...)

Well, it did seem odd to me, but i'm not exactly what you can call a "heavy" collector : p
Thanks for the input

Hi Guys, I just found someone selling a pretty odd Nights into dreams disc. It does seem a legit game but in the same time, it doesn't match anything i know. Can someone help me out on this? I was thinking about letting this go, but if this is a rare item i might get it. Thanks for the help

I find it strange when you refer to Nights or Baku Baku as "cheap". It's starting to be pretty hard to find a complete copy of these games in good condition below the 30£ mark.

Didn't play this game back in the 90's. And never been a RPG guy. But being a Game of thrones fan and picking up this game about 12months ago I couldn't stop playing it. Absolutely loved Dragon force. My wife actually got up one morning about 3am to find me in the study on my CRT TV still playing this. Hadn't been to bed. Easily now one of my favourite saturn games. how do you link game of thrones to this? Well, it IS a game about conquest and it does have a medievalish scenery. Maybe it's something like that?
