I'm probably repeating someone's post, but i didn't find anything similar tbh... Anyway, here it goes: i bought yesterday my first Memory Card (official EU one, my Saturn is the 2nd PAL model) but i'm having some issues with it. Hopefully, someone can point me in the right direction.
I encountered 4 main problems:
1st) Wierd letters and punctuation on saved games description
2nd) All the saves were wiped out from the memory card
3rd) Some difficulty while recognizing the memory card
4th) When i was able to make saturn recognize the memory card, i tried to copy some saves and i had a warning saying "not copied" several times.
I did take off the memory card while the Saturn was functioning as i was thinking it worked like a regular PS1 memory card, but maybe i was wrong.
Is there any kind of good practices i should be following while trying to use this?
Thanks in advance ; )

You can get the US version if you wait. About every 1-2 years one pops up on Ebay. They are on official Sega Gold discs. Im guessing a decent amount of them were floating around SOA offices before the release as test copies. I only paid a little over a 100 for mine and realistically the NTSC US version of Deep Fear is the best version (English and full speed) Hmm, tell me more about this. I never saw an official Sega Gold Discs for Deep Fear US, only CDR on Lost and Found Volume 3. Qft. Never heard anything about this. Was certain it didn't have ntsc version at all...

Deep fear is being sold for More than 150£ atm. It's one of the rarest/ most expensive in the pal collection. Mine only has the portuguese instruction manual (it's a Black And white print of the multi manual) but got it for 68£

www.satakore.com/sega-saturn-auction22,,Sega-Saturn-promo-silver-discs.html "promo versions of games are issued in very small numbers directly by the publishers to retailers and reviewers slightly ahead of the official release of the game in the actual shops. As such, their rarity can make them collectible for particular titles." ; )

Well, this last month was rather "busy" Wow! Awesome pick ups. And Deep Fear is just the icing on the cake. And considering i'm going to pay less than 80£ for it is even better : P I'll probably post my 3-month collection in the coming days anyways.

...and if you get a complete one and have an extra disc, send me a message and I´ll buy that from you along with your old repro case Ahahah sorry man, i guess i'll have to keep this one for now : P Anyway, i found a guy who "retrofitts" old 1st generation covers with high quality covers. He basically prints out the cover in a sticker-like paper and puts it over an old 1st generation cover.

Speaking of cases... I got a Dark Savior copy with a repro case (couldn't really understand it by the photo shown in the website) so i'm trying to get an original one.
Does any of you know a place where i can find original cases?

Almost at the end of disc 3 of panzer dragoon saga. Just finished the shellcoof sidequest and was completely mind blown on how it connects with panzer dragoon zwei.
Brought back some of my memories back ehrn i was a kid. This game is truly a masterpiece

Got myself a copy of Golden Axe: The duel for 20€. No Manual.
After playing if for a couple of hours i just became astonished on how Street Fighter 2 influenced the whole Fighting Games Genre. The concepts of footsies, anti-airs, neutral game - they're all there. I thought i was just getting a Saturn classic, but i guess i got a very interesting and technical 2D fighter instead.
Make no mistake though, the game clearly shows its age and can be hardly be seen as a revolutionary game at the time. If you're like me and enjoy 2D fighters like Street Fighter (and still reminisce with the glorious Sega Flash Vol.1) this piece of nostalgia might be a collector's item you'll actually play from time to time.

Got SFA Warrior's Dreams and a VF Remix with the Cardbox! These two were bought for collection purposes because in terms of SF and VF series, SFA2 and VF2 are the games i actually take time to play. B

Came back today from Spain just to find out that the copy of that Mortal Kombat Trilogy for 70€ had been sold... Altough i did get SF Alpha Warrior's Dreams and VF Remix with the Cardbox. Wasn't too bad, but a bit of a letdown... They also had a copy of Street Fighter: the Collection - a complete PAL one for 245€, but it was simply too much for a game like that... Even though i have yet to find one on all ebay
