I agree with those who have stated/voted PDZwei. It's a truly amazing game and it would be amazing to see it receivem should we say, the 'Shadow of Colossus' treatment That sounds like it would do wonders for my pores. What's it mean, though? HAHAHAHA, SURE... Recently, BluePoint were responsible for creating a 'True' HD remake of Shadow of the Colossus for the PS4. They took an already truly beautiful game (not unlike PDZ) and dialled the graphics, details etc right up to 11! The result is truly mindblowing. The original SOTC is an amazing game. The HD remake is, quite simply, even MORE amazing... as cliched as that sounds The great thing is, they didn't take any unnecessary redirections or artistic licensing with the remake. They simply emphasised what was already amazing and fully respected the beauty and intent of the original game. Here's one they made earlier: -

VOTED STRIKERS 2... As it's my fave of the 3. Unlike Marc, I actually prefer Strikers 2 > Strikers 1 - irrespective of arcade accuracy etc Lol, I'm not hating on strikers2, in the arcade I'd happily play either. On the Saturn it has its "issues", but it's still really playable. I'm in hair splitting territory here, I won't deny it. Both good games, but the port of Strikers1 subtley edges it because it NAILS it. Hahaha. No worries As it happens, I have BOTH games for Saturn, PS1 and on PS2 - so tend to play Strikers 1 on Saturn and Strikers 2 on PS1. Win win. Similarly I play my Donpachi's on the PS1 > Saturn

KOF 97 FOR ME...
Regardless of the loading, it's actually a really solid version of the game.
KOF 97 EASILY outweighs any of the Capcom titles on Capcom Gen 5 for me and of course MKT too.

HOWS IT GOING DUDE... Excellent. You're next opponent is BAD! And really Angry! All 3 of these games are absolutely amazing. I love ALL 3 dearly. Almost like having to choose a favourite child. However, I have gone on record previously and stated that the Real Bout series are my favourite fighters ever made so... guess that answers this polls question then

3 VERY UNDERWHELMING GAMES HERE...
But my vote goes to Highway 2000 (read: Wangan Dead Heat). It's not great at all, but is better/more fun than the other two here, of which, Ayrton Senna's Kart Duel is squarely at the bottom of the pile.
I wouldn't bother buying ANY of these if you haven't already.

GUNGRIFFON KILLS IT HERE...
One of the best non-SEGA PAL titles available. Totally overlooked. It looks, sounds and plays superbly. A ridiculously good game.
I am also in the 'Ghen War is good' camp. It is decent. The terrain deformation due to weapons was cool too.

Great read! Thanks for that. I actually thought Neo was being serious lol There was a time when I was considering buying it having been inspired by Neo's avatar. Glad I didn't now. I suppose it's one of those that looks better than it plays. LOL... It's still there, in my signature, Anthaemia's immortal endorsement of D-XTurd Zero Divide 3 is easily the best of the 3 here. However, I much prefer Zero Divide 2 on PS1 (very similar to ZD3 btw).

ON THE TECHNICALITY...
That, for whatever reason(?) you put Gun Griffon 2 instead of the original Gun Griffon, I opted for Bulk Slash as my choice.
However, had you stated 'Gun Griffon', I would have chosen that instead (as never played the JP only sequel)

I OPTED FOR PDZwei... Most likely my favourite Saturn game. Ever. I'm going with zwei, one of the best rail shooters ever, might have been the best if not for titles like sin and punishment 2.... a must have, and the best of the series imho.^ This. S&P2 is the best Wii game ever imo. The best Wii game, most people never played...

I WENT WITH STRIKERS 1945...
My fave of the 3. I can't really compare with Night Striker S though - completely different type of game.
But LS2, the Saturn port is complete garbage. the PS1 version (Raystorm) completely annihilates it - in both performance and price! Even so, 1945 is still my preference > Raystorm which is a game I actually happen to like (more than Layer Section 1, if I'm honest).

I CHOSE FHDynamite... As I have the most fun playing it > WW7 & GoF. As Atolm has stated, the Saturn port of WW7 is utterly dreadful. Even worse than Marvel Super Heroes in terms of port quality! However, the Neo Geo original (and PS2 version) are great! A truky remarkable game. Truth be told, WW7 IS better than FHD. I just enjoy playing FHD more As for GoF / Power Instinct 3, I really don't like it as much as I'd like. Unfortunately, the animations are really lacking in the frames dept and the game feels really stiff and rigid for me as a result. This is easily 3rd for me. By contrast, Power Instinct 4 on Neo Geo is amazing!

A VOTE FOR DRIFT KING HERE...
I originally had Tokyo Highway Challenge on PS1 growing up and really liked it. The same goes for the Saturn version too.
Never bothered (read: fancied) with any of the Choro Q games myself. They've never appealed to me.
I've owned both the King the Spirits games too, but as stated earlier, they're just 'ok'. Worth a look for the right price tbh.

VOTED FOR RAYMAN HERE...
I have Gex on 3DO and like it, but not as much as Rayman.
As for EWJ2, I bought it, played it and thought the game was just a loud, incoherent drunkard mess of a game. I didn't enjoy anything about the game, gameplay of the so-called humour (very forced). I've sold it on and never missed it. Naaah. Not for me.
Rayman is an absolute masterpiece when compared to the other two. To be fair, it pretty much is a masterpiece anyway - comparatively, or not.

HYPER DUEL FOR ME, ALTHOUGH... This is a tough selection for the poll here. TFV is great, I really like it although, like Marc has sort of said, it wasn't love at first sight. The love has grown over time. TFIV is still the best one they ever made imo. I'm also in the Cotton 2 > Boomerang club! Thought it was just me. The simplification of 'special moves' was nice in Boomerang, but overall, I too preferred the simpler approach offered by Cotton 2 (re: one character, life bar etc). Andm yes Marc!; I too am not one for Cute Em Ups etc, but I 100% agree... Cotton 2 is JUST on the right side of not being 'too' cute to enjoy fully But, the overall champ for me is Hyper Duel. Not only is it my fave game in this poll, it is in fact what I consider to be the BEST Hori Shmup for the Saturn and in my top 5 Saturn shmups overall! Shame it's so expensive which often causes people to dismiss it bsed on value for money > how good the game is on it's own merits.
